We are seeking motivated and skilled individuals to join our team as Certified Journeyperson Powerline Technicians, Apprentice Lineworkers, or Experienced Pole Setters. As part of our power restoration crew, you will have the opportunity to respond to critical situations, help restore power, and ensure the safety and comfort of communities in times of need.

Job Description:
In these casual, on-call roles, you will be an essential part of our power restoration team, working on emergency assignments as they arise. As a Certified Journeyperson Powerline Technician, Apprentice Lineworker, or Experienced Pole Setter, you will be responsible for assisting in the repair and restoration of electrical infrastructure, including power lines, transformers, and utility poles. Your expertise and dedication will help communities recover from power outages caused by storms, accidents, or other emergencies.

Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to emergency power restoration calls in Eastern Canada and the Continental United States.
- Assist in repairing and replacing damaged power lines, transformers, and related equipment.
- Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to identify electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your team.
- Collaborate with fellow power restoration workers and adhere to the direction provided by supervisors and project managers.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including equipment used, time spent, and any additional details required for reporting purposes.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified Journeyperson Powerline Technician, Apprentice Lineworker, or experience as a Pole Setter.
- Solid knowledge of electrical systems, power line maintenance, and repair procedures.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights, in challenging weather conditions, and in various terrains.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

Casual On-Call Nature of the Roles:
Please note that these positions are casual, on-call roles, which means there is no guarantee of hours or callout duration. As emergencies arise, you will be contacted to assist with power restoration efforts on an as-needed basis. This flexible arrangement allows us to effectively respond to emergency situations while offering you an opportunity to contribute your skills when they are most needed.
